Hanna is a producer and creative project manager whose work spans film production, marketing, and brand storytelling. Most recently, she served as Project and Production Manager at OpenLight Films in San Francisco, where she led the execution of commercial and branded content from creative development through post-production.
She is currently directing her first documentary,Finding Dolfina: The Girl in the Fishbowl, the mysterious performer known as “Dolfina” who swims beneath the bar at Bimbo’s 365 Club since 1931. After stepping into the role herself, Hanna became fascinated with the women who have embodied the character across generations. Through interviews with former performers, the film explores Dolfina as both spectacle and mirror - revealing how ideas of femininity, power, and performance have shifted over time.
In her free time, you can find Hanna vintage shopping around San Francisco, looking for cool rocks, or spending time with her dog, Cali.
Background
She loves sketching little doodles around San Francisco and during her travels and filing them away in a vintage Rolodex.
She documents life with her trusty Polaroid camera - often snapping photos of unsuspecting tourists and handing them the print as a souvenir.
She’s been a vegetarian since she was five years old because of a bet with her sister (her sister did not win that bet).
Although she’s an adventure seeker, Hanna is deathly afraid of sharks and rarely ventures into the ocean past her ankles.
She has been performing as the Girl in the Fishbowl at Bimbo’s 365 Club for the past two years.
Hanna is also a Greek citizen - opa! 🇬🇷
